R-M AUTOMOTIVE REFINISH WINS GLOBAL TECHNICAL APPROVAL FOR PORSCHE

R-M® Automotive Refinish has gained global technical approval from Porsche After Sales Engineering for all Porsche collision repairs, including warranty repairs, as detailed in the Global Porsche Repair manual and published in the Porsche Workshop Information System (PIWIS).

As one would expect from a vehicle manufacturer renowned for cutting edge design and technology as well as superb build quality, only those products that meet their stringent quality and performance requirements gain approval and R-M is rightly proud of that. Peter Topic, BASF’s Automotive Refinish Coatings Business Manager-Technical approvals said: “We are very pleased that through its certification, Porsche has confirmed the technical excellence of our products.”

R-M is one of the premium automotive refinish paints brands within BASF and a supplier of all aspects of OEM finishing technology to Porsche from e-coats through to basecoats and clears, including the innovative special effect color Liquid Metals, exclusive to the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Working together with Porsche, R-M Automotive Refinish is dedicated to maintaining the highest quality repair standards throughout the global Porsche distributor and repairer network, R-M offers specialized training including  Express spot repair techniques , the Programs For Success business analysis and bodyshop process optimization program.
